It is a different thing.

The US influence on Israel before 1960 is interesting, too. After the Soviet support for Israel the US tried hard to booster the less left wing elements and had quite some success with it. This doesn't mean that Israel was controlled by the US, but that the critically supported leftist projects got less power and influence over time.

Thanks for the write up.

In regards to yandere, it seems it is an well established term that already did gather clout in research decades ago: https://www.academia.edu/25954969/Yangire_Yandere_a_tour_of_the_poisonous_girls_in_Japanese_animation_and_beyond

Yandere Simulator simulator is mentioned in that article shortly.

I am pondering both the material, social and psychological reasons why it is a popular thing.

So what he is saying it is good to torture nearly dead beings? Would he want to be experimented on when he is about to die instead of getting palliative care? I doubt it.

to side with white people on all the wrong issues since they are so close to "whiteness".

This is a bad take and misunderstands the whiteness concept.

The best estimates of the total death toll in India under British rule is somewhere around 60 million people but some of those famines occurred after the end of the British East India Company. A good estimate for those deaths under the Company rule is about 40 million.

All that profiting!

Whiteness is more than the colour of the skin and that play largely a role in power systems and passing.

While I do agree with faer, there are a couple of CWs. It is about history of marginalized after all, so from what I remember there is some police brutality, some societal repression, some mentions of violence, some terms like deviant and worse are used, some words have outdated meanings (today other phrases would be used, but those were often only developed afterwards).

https://hexbear.net/comment/3878643 seems to be happy to give specific ones. The main frame is that of speeches given by Leslie. Over all what did affect me personally was more the acquainting myself with what is described and contrasting or complementing it with my lived experiences.

I don't say people trying to associate Hexbear and 4chan are fed posters, but I say that if I were a fedposting I would certainly try to make that association popular.

This is no accident.

Meanwhile when you say: "Feeding kids is alright" you are run through some towns.

I read that the clique around Bush did aim to "pay back" stuff a thousand times, seems that they more or less managed to do that, even though the pay back was genocide against innocent people, which the USA has a tradition that reaches further back then the Vietnam War.
