Please tell us more or other things!

When a lot of immigrants from Cuba, Vietnam, and China came over, the US was around 30-40% of the WORLD's GDP. These three countries' lifespans were literally a full decade lower than America's. The infrastructure and technology was easily many many decades behind

This is sad for the people affected, but it is also very funny when high tech fails, especially when the bus drivers themselves do likely know the routes and all that already.

Maybe nobody ever sees them again.

Disappearing people is something the USA did and taught dictators and similar all around the world including South America. This image of Pinochet and alike is what they evoke with the sentence. "Nobody" means death. This is as you rightly called out propaganda.

I don't actually go through your post history. You also did a non-pology. Not an apology. That you know.

Still waiting for that till you become a person able to speak with again.

Typically I'm a lurker and feel I dont have much to contribute either, but you're all so friendly

That is the magic here, you don't have to contribute in terms of utility. There is no minimum utility you have to bring, neither.

We even are somewhat chill with episodes that break site rules, as long as you chill with the 1 day ban and make your peace. I know at some point having people tell me that was also good for me.

Okay quick question, did you apologize for your ableism? When my daughter played with someone and she was mean to them they had to make up, did you?

Using ableist talk like

delusional

does seem that you have do away with your tendency to combat your saneism, too.

That is the one thing the admins of those instances could really enforce, just ban people for usage of it and be done with it, but no instead ban 20k people.

Yes, cause it is sensible to see how a feature interacts with your community. This is the reform approach with feedback and decision making by the community. It is also a good practice to reflect and tune what you do.

I do see that lemmygrad is more aligned to some ML types, while hexbear is a bit wider, which does make for a difference. But it doesn't seem the strain of communism is the main problem for the de-federating people.

However we have a more diverse set of opinions in our user base, since we don't ban people that quick (i.e. in terms of war in Russia we have some revolutionary defeatists, some anti imperialists who favour a weakening of the imperialist NATO (which really irks other instance admins, etc.).

To moderate a sub sub sub comment of a main thread is a bit funny though.
