Gotta check the documentation

Yeah! It gets a bit hot tho, so I'm using it on battery saving mode with low specs, and I cannot have it in my pants' pocket for too long or it crashes. But it does work.

I have a 1080p monitor and I'm planning on mostly playing things like minetest morrowind, jrpg's and such. I might also try to learn blender

I know!! KDE is one of the reasons I never looked back when I left windows. And even to this day I keep learning new stuff, KDE really rocks

I have a dictionary app called 'akebi' that shows me the words, the kanjis and the stroke order; and I also use google keyboard with the onscreen-drawing pad for japanese, so every kanji and kana I wrote on my previous comment was hand drawn by me. It takes a bit of time to get used to, but it really helps.

Also, learning about the origins of kanji, it's radicals and history helps a lot, you'll start creating connections in your head about pronunciation and meaning. You'll associate meaning and sound to kanjis a lot faster that way. I've come to the point of hearing a word, learning it's meaning and then I come up with the possible kanjis that make it up, and surprisingly I'm right 60 to 80% of the time!

Try calligraphy too. I learned all the kanjis that originated hiragana, and sometimes I see them in the wild and immediately know their pronunciation (60% of the time)

I'ts a matter of patience, and motivation, A LOT of motivation.

Is this literally the picture that the artist used as reference? Everything matches, even the blue and red on the side

Thanks! I'll look into this hello world example. And as for the electricity bill... I'm planning on having this website running locally for a short while, as this is mostly for learning purposes. Perhaps in the future I'll try other hosting options, idk.

But for the time being, I like to think that I'll be able to host whatever I want whenever I want you know? It's kind of liberating.

Thanks! This actually helps me a lot, I'm lacking a bit of knowledge on ports and stuff, it sounds a bit daunting to have that many ports to choose from, but if you narrow it to that one port and another temporal one it gets easier haha, thank you, I never know which ports to use for stuff.

I've been reading some other comments and I think I've kind of figured out what to do, it's just a matter of doing some more research, as you mentioned the how-to's are easy to find online, but the bones of my plan are kind of there haha.

Thanks! I also appreciate your concern. I'm also worried about getting attacked or hacked, so I'll be doing my research on that too... Maybe, if the risks are to high I might have to compromise with a small short-term deployment (just for the accomplishment) and then switch to a more reasonable project, perhaps trying linode or something.
