Yes, truth is a defense.

The grey area this law attempts to exploit is that terms like 'racist' have no absolute definition. The term can be used as a response to anything from 'i don't like Indian food' to 'Hilters views on the aryan race were right'.

Take the Indian food example. If you were you say that, and I called you a racist for it, is that a matter of opinion on my behalf or a fact that is the basis of a defamation suit?

No way. That would fuck over way too many people who are just trying to live out their lives in the home they've built/purchased/inherited.

It happens, but it's limited to mastectomies.

There is also the argument that messing with hormones during puberty is probably not a great idea.

I think the feature is cool and I'm looking forward to it personally.

Maybe they should have made it opt in, but social features like this on other platforms like discord and stream aren't, so .. eh.

I'm not sure this is correct in respect to Gaza.

The requirements for citizenship under pre-hamas in Gaza is your father must be an Palestinian Arab. There is no naturalization process that allows you to bypass this requirement. That is the definition of an ethnostate.

While I can't find any record on if Hamas changed the law, I highly doubt they did considering their political stance.
