Yeah I’m kinda baffled and saddened that they cancelled LD while moving forward with the S31 thing…

There’s usually a 24 hr ATM by/in the entrance of most banks as well, for people on foot.

I played this game and loved it but never finished it. I feel like I was either too dumb to figure out what to do next, or I could tell what I needed to do but couldn’t maneuver my ship/character well enough. Total skill issue on my part, though I intend to dive back in at some point.

Just a side note, I live in the US and neither me nor anyone I know had any idea who she was. I had to look her up after I saw the headlines. Of course, I don’t really listen to ‘country’ so YMMV.

Edit: Also don’t care about the National Anthem but you’re right a lot of people do.

I think I've improved on your methods a bit, too. I employed some chiaroscuro shading.

I am so glad we managed to buy something in November 2019. Our state (MD) even had a first-time homebuyer program that gave us an interest-free ‘loan’ to get us out of PMI, only needs to be paid back if we sell or refinance. We make it work on 75k/yr total income somehow, although it’s gotten harder and harder. Seriously, we had a small car payment ($250/month, paid off in the last few years) when we bought the house that we could probably not afford now. We also have to basically restrict eating/going out to special occasions only, but that’s not so bad.

Just thankful we were able to find a decent modest home in a nice little town in our state. My heart goes out to everyone struggling now!

Edit: also meant to add that going by what Zillow says our home is ‘worth’ now, we couldn’t afford it today.

This article really confused me because I thought Below Zero was Subnautica 2, LOL.

I walked into that aisle recently and got such a warm feeling of comfort and nostalgia I almost started crying. I can’t even explain why. I love it so much.

As someone who has a client who is an automotive OEM (I work with Customs and Imports), most of the parts are made by suppliers, who use parts from other suppliers, and barely anything is done in-house except maybe final assembly, so your comment totally tracks.

It’s suppliers all the way down LOL.

When I visited (so take it with a grain of salt) a local (who was a friend of a friend and showed us around) said that culturally there is a lot of encouragement to be creative in various forms. Be interested if any Icelandic people would either confirm or deny this.

I’m not linking to an instance, I’m linking to a Star Trek fan site. I’m not sure what I did wrong?

This. I’ve been at my job for a year as a remote out of state employee. All of the sudden, they decided we needed weekly team meetings and virtual team building when we had none before. My job is not collaborative, everyone on the team has a different role and most things can be handled over email/teams. I like my coworkers, but we’ve been working great together without all this crap. Even my manager doesn’t like it but it’s being forced on her from higher up, half the time she doesn’t have anything to share at the team meeting that couldn’t have been a one sentence email.

Edit to add: oh and these weekly team meetings have cameras on required, when before any of the few meetings we had never required this. Seems like one of the higher up read some article about ‘building virtual teams’ and went to town without actually stopping to think whether it fits.
