Does anyone know if Yugie has posted about the next board games cafe event yet? I'm planning on bringing my cousins and sibling to the next one!

I gave sync a try earlier and definitely did see ads. Ngl, I've gotten somewhat used to Liftoff (although collapsed comments reopen once they're offscreen) and it's not too bad.

I'm looking forward to trying out Artemis once it's out since it also supports Mastodon.

If we have a DuitNow associated with a different banking app, I wonder if it'll affect how we'll be able to transfer funds?

• Ship of Fools - if you have a player 2, this game is so much fun and chaos. However, it suffers from a desperate need for optimisation and bug fixing. I have it on Steam, and all I can see when I launch the game is a black screen. I have to join my partner's game to play.

My laptop's about 4 years old and it's not that much of a slouch, so to see so many issues for it is a bit annoying. However, it's a very fun game, and they're coming out with new content, so it's still worth a buy on sale.

• Death's Door - You play as a cute crow that kills things. Bosses are pretty fun. Music is enjoyable. On the switch loading is a bit slow after deaths, but it's a very pretty isometric boss killing game that's not hard for the sake of being hard.

• Oxygen Not Included - If you like building things and keeping people alive, this game is really so much fun. If you enjoy a stylised cartoon aesthetic, a steep learning curve and your duplicants accidentally vomitting in your water source, give this a go.

This comes at a time where I'm considering replacing my 5 year old phone battery due to significant degradation, but at the cost of my phone's water resistance. I'm all for user repairability and really look forward to these consumer friendly changes.

Yeah, I understand that. Though I think the value of spaces like this is also to curate quality news and resources, which is what I used Reddit for a lot.

I think there's a lot of good for having a space where people are sharing relevant and interesting news. Even if they're lurkers, it doesn't mean they're not part of the community I guess?

I dunno where I'm leading this point lol. Just that I think everyone, even lurkers have a place as part of the community. Not everyone is social, but I think r/Malaysia & r/Malaysians made it feel like everyone is welcome regardless, and I'd like that feeling to carry on wherever the community goes.

Only just caved into my boycott of Reddit today to see if r/malaysia migrated. Really happy to see that we have!

I think will be a while lah before we get more traction here, but one less comment we make on Reddit, is one less piece of content they get.
