Why not? I've added all my instances to it no problem.

yup, it is, i was aware of that, i was just noting that it is possible to extract this information and pointed at the precedent. Thank you for clarifying anyway. Useful.

MastOdon (capitalized o for spelling visibility) is not end to end encrypted. Nothing you do there is private. Either you trust, or you don't. So as the other commenter said, self host is the only way to ensure privacy on mastodon.

There was in fact a recent event where the FBI raided mastodon admin's server and got their DMs, posts, and all private and public history of all users registered.

oh shiit that's bad, elon pls

the thumbnail does work very well tho, i can expand it, the only problem is if i click the thumbnail itself and not the expando button, in which case it takes me to a "nothing here" nitter screen.

The link doesn't seem to work on nitter, but switching from nitter.net to twitter.com works for me, wonder why this is.

also rly cute pic :)

even as a crypto user & dev, brave's crypto shit is annoying af, it's inferior by far to what everyone else uses & they push it on ur face & make u have to remove it.

i'd rather just use firefox or even microsoft edge, even for crypto stuff
