What caught me most off guard was him saying that OAuth somehow grants sites access to your camera. That's a permission controlled by the browser and not at all related to OAuth.

Youtube has started to artificially slow down video load times if you use Firefox. Spoofing Chrome magically makes this problem go away. by LostXOR in c/technology@lemmy.world

Not happening for me currently, but that definitely sounds like something Google would do. Good thing Firefox lets you easily change your user agent.
