Speaking of sequels, I'm happy to announce that "Barbie 2: The Search for More Money" will continue exactly where the first movie left off,

spoileras Barbie experiences the wonders of the American medical industry first hand and discovers that her insurance company won't cover her yearly gynecologist exam and scrambles to find money to cover her out-of-pocket payment before it goes to collections and ruins her credit score.

(It's based on a true story.)

Some of you who are complaining Lemmy are seeing though rose-tinted glasses about what reddit was like back in the day. The majority of the site was never good, and it had always had plenty of embarassing/messed up things on there that you had to sift through, but it's a different, sterile kind of bad now.

Here are a couple of reminders of what reddit was actually like, in no particular order.

  • Ron Paul
  • Faces of Atheism, "Euphoric"
  • AdviceAnimals, Rage Comics
  • Spacedicks
  • r/jailbait
  • The entire Boston bomber saga

This is why I would never admit to using reddit in public, and until recent years, I would imagine most people won't.

So if anyone complains about how the current content on Lemmy is driving people away, remember, Lemmy is positively TAME compared to this supposedly "Golden Era" of reddit.

Accidentally become the main character not just in every single movie I'm in, but on social media this time.

Why does this keep happening to me?

(and still no Oscar. Sigh.)

Silly Hexbear, Visual Studio is not an upgraded counterpart of VSCode, Visual Studio is an IDE specialized for C#/Dotnet and C++ development, while VSCode is a general purpose source code editor with wide extension support for different programming languages.

Using Visual Studio for Python is like using VSCode for C#: while it is certainly possible, it would be a lot more difficult than using the proper tool for the job, so you should still stick with VSCode for Python!

It's a pretty bad idea to fire the majority of your employees if you want them to basically recreate Stripe (not just PayPal/Venmo) and somehow mush it into Twitter.

Also, that market is saturated, most banks and credit unions in the US already supports Zelle, and Venmo, CashApp, and PayPal are very estabished tech financial players in this space.

Again, if there ever was a possibility of an American WeChat equivalent to be built, the only one who ever had a chance to build it was Zuckerberg more than a decade ago, during the very short time period when the general population was adopting Facebook, but the old Facebook users have not started migrating off it. Trying to build WeChat in the US in 2023 is foolish at best.

Yeah, but have you considered that you don't get paid to go to school?

Nostalgia is a very strong thought, but being a grown-up means that sadly, there is a lot of things in life you'll have to give up because of money and responsibilities.

But life is short, there is no reason to not live your dreams and enjoy life and be a kid again once in a while. Do something crazy, say something stupid, go see your friends every day not because you have to, but because you want to, have fun again.

Celebrities shamelessly selling out and publicly writing blatant repetitive advertisement? How could they do such a thing?

Anyways, that movie, now also available on streaming services!

Esteemed Academy Award nominated character actress Margot Elise Robbie is pretty good at acting.

Now if only she can win an Oscar instead of you know, Wikifeet. (Ew. Ew. Ew. Ew. Ew.)

You've seen the Wolf of Wall Street right?

Do like the exact opposite of that.
