I really love this anime, but it will probably be hard to find another one like it. Since the relationship dynamics are complex and somewhat everybody wanting to be with everybody, but also somewhat competing and at times even helping the competition. From what I’ve read most Yuri seems to focus on the relationship between only two women.

There are also bonus points for tomboy(-ish) characters.

So far I have Revolutionary Girl Utena on my list because it is said to have complex relationships, but it’s not Yuri and very old.

That sub is meant to encourage and validate. But I think that’s also in part where this is coming from. egg_irl here is thankfully less relatable
