Haha, yea. I don't think you can make people coordinate that much unless it's bots.

Ah, I see what you mean now. In that case I don't think you can do it on Kbin natively rn. There is this website though, which might help a bit. At least imo it's easier to use. https://lemmyverse.net/communities

You can just filter for only lemmy.world. When you find a community you want to join you'll have to type the handle of the community in the search icon to the right rather than in the Magazine tab for communities that doesn't already have a copy on your instance.

Click on the tab Magazines at the top, select local and federate, put lemmy.world in the search box to see all lemmy.world communities. If you want to check for community with certain keywords you can try putting [keyword]@lemmy.world. It can search for the keyword in both the name and description, but not extensive as if you'd search on lemmy.world.

This can use some improvement, but it's not a Kbin problem though, since Lemmy is even worse when it comes to searching for communities outside each instance.

I could see myself doing that tbh, but for other things. There's always this urge to promote the less well known stuff. It just depends on when you're in the mood to actually type it out.

Many parts in Asia, including Japan (mentioning this specifically because it's probably the easiest to find if you want to try). They are pretty delicious.

This is how they usually look btw. You can usually find them with different kinds of sauces depending on the cuisine it comes from. The texture is like a more chewy cross between scallop and octopus.

Doesn't Threads app have direct access to browsing history as well? I feel like that's another can of worm that could probably use some further explanation on.

And it's perfectly normal for technology to advance and become more effective and efficient over time.

The people in that subreddit seem pretty cringe and whiny. Some of them will quietly eat their word in the not so distant future when Lemmy and Kbin has more useful features than Reddit as Reddit keeps going down hill.

I get having megathreads, but currently kbin doesn't care whether a post on Lemmy is pinned, so megathreads make it harder here to follow news and discussions on the topic.

I just checked. They are pushing more ads from what I've seen and now there's ad for every several posts. At least for myself this has never happened before, not sure if it is different for people in other regions with higher traffic to Reddit. It's obnoxious.

I don't entirely disagree with the post, but it could have been worded much better, the title in particular.

It affects those who don't want their votes visible and for random stranger to track their activities. That's why this is better as an opt in for those who want them and have them be invisible for those who don't want to share it. Think of how you can set your Youtube playlists like favourites to private or unlisted.
