Which kernel do you use on Debian? IIRC support for Intel Arc was added in 6.0 or higher. I am using Proxmox (based on Debian) and I had to upgrade from 5.15 to 6.2 kernel to get hardware decoding to work. Have you checked the Jellyfin manual? It's pretty elaborate on how to get Intel QSV working.
Fair point. Can't argue with that.
I heard there's this website called piratedbay.
Also to add to this, you are disqualified from contributing code to the WINE project if you've seen parts of the Windows source code for this exact same reason.
Same here! Switched to Linux on my desktop almost exactly one year ago. Let's celebrate together 🎉
I don't think Steam actually recommends any distro since some time anymore
I think they do by proxy since they only distribute it via .deb (and with Steam of course) and all games in the store that have a native Linux version mention some kind of Ubuntu version in their requirements as well. Which is funny since the Steam Deck doesn't even run Ubuntu.
This is actually everyone's complaint about the game. It's frustrating because the game has a lot of potential otherwise.
If you're going to the trouble of learning a new OS, IMO you might as well just go straight for Linux. Gaming is a lot better on Linux than on OSX as well.
Tried both and Connect seems to make a bit more sense to me. But more options is more better!
Offices are freezing cold for only half of the people. For the other half offices are always way too hot.
