They were very good ports for the PS3 and 360. But Konami have just taken that and popped them on the marketplace without much in the way of work to make them suitable for PC players. Sure, it's great to finally have them available on PC, but if you're gonna put such little work in, the price they're asking isn't justified.

I hadn't heard of that before - looks like they have some clubs in the UK so I'll investigate. Thanks!

Yes I think you're right - sometimes I'll feel like I need to fill a silence, and end up spewing out nonsense. Then I'll feel embarrassed and struggle with the rest of the conversation. It's quite hard to un-learn that feeling of silence being uncomfortable, but it would definitely give time to help me think.

Thanks for the heads up :) The same brand does a conditioner that is silicone free, so I'll try that out

Opus Magnum is really great if you haven't played it before :)

Whoa, some amazing paint jobs! The detail is insane

Ah yeah I understand what you mean. I guess that must have really changed the design philosophy - having an idea first, and then a game second. I admire what they created as it's a beautiful experience, but slightly lacking as a game. Almost as if the 'game' part was an afterthought.

I think people are being unnecessarily harsh in response to your comment. I get what you mean - it must be frustrating to writers to see their work reduced to a few key points that remove it from the greater context.

I don't think you're being snobby in saying that.

On the other hand, I don't think summaries are a bad thing. On the whole it'll encourage more people to give the book a try. Anyone that's put off by the summary probably wouldn't have read the book in the first place, and at least it gives them some basic background.

I've actually not played any of the Myst games! But I did buy the collection on Humble Bundle recently, so I look forward to giving them a go :)

No you're not too late - thanks for the suggestion! That does look like it would pair perfectly with monsteras.

Emulation I guess?

Having the ingredients in individual containers is a good idea! However I usually buy a pre-made muesli mix and surprisingly it seems to work out very cheap compared to buying the individual ingredients (unless perhaps I was to buy them in bulk somewhere). I'm not sure I can beat £2 for 1kg of muesli from Aldi. It's convenient too, but then I run into the separation issues of course.
