All of these recommendations are great. I'm always pleased to see so many cinemaphiles. I like lists, and have found many of my favorites from them.

Ebert's Great Movies List is perfect.

The Criterion Closet Picks, see the greats talk about the greats.

The Janus Collection has a lifetime of stuff.

Jellyfin is great but has some issues that can make it annoying. The 3rd party clients are often better than the normal interface. The server is easy to set up. So I can recommend all of it.

Honestly though, just because it isn't updated doesn't mean it is not great. I always revert to Clementine myself. Still use it daily and love it. There is an updated variant called strawberry which is updated and works great, but the remote doesn't work.

Just a tip, you can debloat your galaxy without rooting it with adb tools. You can remove any apps you want this way fairly easily.

Not a long term solution, and all the other comments are great options for replacement. Until then, you can remove almost anything you want until you're ready to switch.

Having tried many, I found that the desktop environments matter more than the actual OS, especially on older machines.

Going for something really light, like openbox, lxde, or xfce, caused less frame rate drop and stuttering. At least on my lower powered mini pc.

Thirded for etsy. i went with simple bands of high quality metals. Silver at first then gold for the tenth. They're quite attractive.

It ain't just animals, it's everything. From bacteria to plants, we're destroying everything so we can grow grow grow!

Thank you. It's not as bad as most people think. But there is a cornucopia of smells that one must acclimate to.

No GPU selected?

One thing I can say is that AMD always plays better with Linux. Even their drivers are baked into the kenrnel rather than some half assed system breaking third party drivers.

Often, plants use a pigment called anthocyanin. This is used in flowers as an attractant for bees but also used in leaves as a sun screen. In intense light conditions the plant will use it to protect the interior vascular systems from sun damage.
