Well yeah, but they expect people talking nonsense to get pummeled in the court of public opinion

I'd be more happy if they just dug a really big borehole and then just filled it up where no one lives

Doh, I got them mixed up. I thought it was on the golden record on Voyager

If a product can be offered without much issue on a pay once and own-as-is forever model, then I think there is an ethical imperative to pirate it.

I would be willing to pay a few hundred bucks for a perpetual license to look 2023 version of Adobe Lightroom. Unfortunately the only place to find such a product is on the high seas. Adobe will only let you buy a subscription based equivalent. I like the actual software product, and I've gotten good at using it, but if I can't just buy it, I'm not going to pay for it.

I actually have a plug-in for Lightroom called topaz Labs AI enhancement suite. I pay for a single year's worth of updates, but I can still use the software as of the final update forever. If Adobe actually offered something like that I would be all over it.

Honestly, pretty nasty sorry excuse for tacos. I know it's a regional thing, but culinary opinions are one of the few places where I can hate things in peace.

Jokes aside, if your taco has a shell instead of a tortilla, it's not a taco.

Without zooming in it looks like a 9 foot ~~person~~ creature in a white robe and dark hair standing behind that guy, staring down menacingly at him

Exactly, they live in international territory in bunkers under the Antarctica ice sheets

Also, when I leave my work laptop at work I don't feel compelled to do any more work after I leave the office. When I take it home with me I have a constant feeling that usually ends up with me checking emails or finishing stuff at 9:00 or 10:00 p.m.

It's like homework that never ever ever gets finished and I'm tired of pretending that it's not literally homework.

It definitely depends. I generally do work from home on fridays, but I give barely any fucks about work on Friday. I am way more productive in the office. That's said, my commute is literally 7 minutes so I don't really care. It's actually kind of nice to mentally transition myself from work to home.

I blame the 2 party system. The democrats could do us on this but the whole culture war thing is really a huge distraction. Democrats seem willing to lose out on everything they proclaim to care about to make everything qia+ their main focus. And they should probably not try to take texan guns on the same platform as anything else.

A don't mess with texan women campaign by a pro gun democrat that is quiet and center on other social issues, along with generic "economic growth" talk might actually do well.

Because I don't want to stay in the city all the time?

I mean, original coca cola, or even chewing coca leaves like South Americans could probably do the trick.
