Especially with the second "s" apparently standing for "satanists". Pretty odd for a pastor, though she writes on another post that a friend created that account for her and she doesn't know anything about the site. IDK

On Mac OS, it's generally split though, isn't it? The Dock is probably the closest equivalent to a TaskBar, though the menu bar also fulfills some functions of one.

The option alone also now also allows people to build stuff that will only work in those WebViews, rejecting to work without the integrity check, which is already a huge loss.

Can you give a concrete example how this would be a huge issue? A webview is part of an app, which is already a closed system. If a developer wants to, they can already build their app using native UI with integrity checks. Now they can do the same when using webviews. It really has none of the implications it would have for browsers.

  • Some kind of black and white Motorola
  • A cheap color Nokia phone
  • A (I think) Motorola camera phone
  • Palm One Treo 650
  • Samsung E1150
  • Wileyfox Swift
  • Motorola G5S Plus
  • Pixel 4a

I only have fuzzy memories of the first couple phones. I got into the smartphone game pretty late in 2016 (unless you count the Palm, which I bought used and which broke very quickly). Actually my main motivation for getting a smartphone was to play Pokemon Go.

As for browsers: Only got mobile internet with the Wileyfox. Used Chrome on that, switched to Firefox at some point when I had the Motorola.

they will often get deformed by roots or depression of the ground quite rapidly

That's true, but more of a maintenance issue IMO. Brick roads do have the advantage that workers can just take some of the bricks out, fix whatever is wrong underneath and put the same bricks back on. Can't really do that with asphalt, which will eventually deform as well.

I don't think it's very empty at all. If I go to my "all" feed, the first page of posts were all posted within the last 10 minutes, and that's despite having blocked the lemmit bot.

There is no indication of such a chip existing or even being possible currently. The Tegra revision rumored to be in the Switch 2 is a good deal less powerful than a Steam Deck.

I could see that, though personally, I just put the phone on loudspeaker in those situations. I mostly use headphones for music and general media consumption.

I wonder how they'll handle marketing after release and later in the west. Information about the plot is now widely available, though I haven't seen any screencaps yet. Maybe they'll release some for press reviews? I expect we'll get regular marketing with trailers in the west.

I guess maybe you can where you live, but no, I can't. Cheapest Lexmark I can find at a glance with built-in scanner (MB2236i) is about 250€ and only prints monochrome. I could buy a lot of ink bottles for that price difference (and I didn't need to replace the ink so far in 1.5 years either).

Currently using Jerboa, which works well for me. Haven't had any of the issues people are reporting. Might switch to Sync when it comes out though.
