Trudeau is a lot like Hillary in that people can't relate to him and he pushes very strongly for the status quo. He should watch the American election and notice that Biden stepping down was the best thing the Democrat party has done in the last 15 years.

Google also makes their own silicon now. I wouldn't be surprised if that's caused a change.

Shareholders don't actually care about long term viability as long as they can sell before everything goes to shit.

The middle class doesn't exist. Everyone thinks they're middle class.

Yes, most people experience prison in the way you described. There's always exceptions, and like someone else said it's in California. Not a left wing state but the closest you'll get in the US.

If the system was so great at rehabilitation the reoffender rate wouldn't be so insane.

I dressed up as Data one year in high school and not many people got it but the ones who did liked it!

Libreoffice is strongest when you're using ODT format because it's an open standard. It's not at all their fault for docx incompatibilities because they change the format CONSTANTLY and of course their only documentation is internal.

Personally I haven't had those issues though, only slight formatting differences when opening docx files, and half the time it's because I didn't have the font installed. You can change to the ribbon style if you really want but personally I prefer the older style, I find it's easier to find what I want.

AppImages are horribly bloated, I personally would never use them on my machines. Snaps I'm also still biased against because Canonical's shady practices. So for me it's still just pacman -Syu && flatpak update.
