Why is it that fast food thinks it can charge for sit-down restaurant prices nowadays?

I don't mind multiple streaming platforms as long as all they do is stream content

My issue is each and every streaming platform produces their own exclusive content or they sign exclusivity contracts so only one platform streams a particular show or movie at once.

If Netflix and amazon video had the same content, you would just have to choose the service that is cheapest and has the best benefits like great user interface, customer support, features, and other stuff like that.

When there are 12 different platforms which each have their own library with barely any overlap you have to sign up for multiple all at once, and some that have terrible customer support or user interfaces if you want to watch one of their shows.

I would settle for something that simply turns the screen black and turns audio off whenever ads play. I don't care if YouTube gets paid for it, I just want to decrease the value of ads and prevent myself from seeing them.

"Dafne Moran Toha, defending the 11-year-old boy, said his behaviour was due to his "lack of maturity" and "very young age"."

Fuck that bullshit. There are hundreds of millions of young people with little maturity across the entire globe, and hardly any of them decide it will be a good idea to murder small animals. These boys are mentally ill in some form or another and need therapy or meds of some sort.

As an outsider looking in I'm not so confident

Jesus, how do they justify that price?

They charge more than Netflix yet they don't even make any of their own content?

I think the thing isn't just providing access to the content, but using algorithms to promote how likely it is for deranged people to view more and more content that fuel their motives for hateful acts instead of trying to reduce how often that content is seen, all because they make more money if they watch more content, wether it is harmful or not.

And only costs 1000x more than it would to rent a trailer for a day twice a year.

I don't understand how cars would work on their own with no input from a driver small-scale

I understand being able to type in "Drive to Walmart" and it can back out of your driveway and go to Walmart, but then what? It goes into the parking lot? It finds the first available space? What if you just wanted to go there to pick something up curbside? How can you tell it to go to a specific stall? What if you're disabled and need to go to the handicap space? How can it tell if your authorized to use that space?

There's so many little nuances that I don't understand not being able to have a steering wheel to take control of and manually do things at some point.

Even removing a ceiling and windshield, $42,000 seems stupidly excessive.

Unrelated but I have the exact same clock pictured in the article ... Weird.

Men's pants can be a lot more loose around the waist and we typically have no butt to hold things up.
