That’s true. It probably would’ve been good for capitalism, but the Empire had a lose lose situation, and of course they’re going to pick the more openly violent and antagonistic path.

Also, there’s an ideal of having “freedom/control” over your time. Along with misaligned schedules from constantly working, the idea of being able to do whatever you want in your free time further messes with people’s ability to form relationships.

It appears you don’t understand that the Zapatistas are not in fact anarchists.

Lol, just because people have a legal “right” to some things doesn’t mean we don’t have a right to criticize the ways it’s damaging and there are far better alternatives. It’s also notable that in many places “private property” owners are not allowed the “right” to do what they wish with their land if it might be beneficial to the ecosystem because it would decrease “property values.”

Sis, I’ve been sending you quotes like these for at least a week. “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.” - matthew 6:24

“Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” - Matthew 19:24

“Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.” - proverbs 31:9

“And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap your field right up to its edge, nor shall you gather the gleanings after your harvest. You shall leave them for the poor and for the sojourner: I am the Lord your God.” - Leviticus 23:22

“ For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.” - 1 Timothy 6: 10

Go read the Lemmygrad comments too.

Jesus wasn’t against capitalism because capitalism didn’t exist when he was alive. However, he was pretty clearly against people getting rich at the expense of others which is at the core of capitalism. Have you even bothered to read the other comments on here? In addition, your definition of capitalism is wrong. One more thing, Jesus wasn’t against selling things. He pretty clearly said “sell your possessions and give to the poor.”

“You don’t actually have more energy or less attention, it’s all in your head. You just need some pills so you can crush your abnormal consciousness and fit the mold known as “normal.””
