I don't think the audience Vance's message is supposed to resonate with cares about being fact-checked, or facts in general.
Trump doesn't care if he's being fact-checked because facts don't matter to him, and his voters have the same outlook.

It actually makes sense as a campaigning song to me as long as your platform is about trying to address the social problems the song is highlighting.
I have a hard time feeling bad for anyone that loses money while trying to make money selling merch for politicians.
Viewing campaigning as an opportunity to profit through business is hella late stage capitalism in the worst way.
Okay, I did some stretches and I feel warmed up.
My biggest complaint is that the answer to the question "So, we are forced to spend time and money on fighting crooked Joe Biden?" is "no".
He wasn't forced to fight Joe Biden. Instead of attacking Joe he could've focused on extolling his own virtues.
I feel like reacting this way indicates that he doesn't see himself as a candidate worthy of winning the election on his own merit.
lol, I feel like my brain is going to explode if I try to wrap my head around the logic Trump is using to get to this conclusion.
Guy Fieri?
Empathy is a hell of a drug.
They definitely abandoned the "do one thing well" philosophy.
The joke was also explained in the title of the post "A Very Emphatic Answer" which highlights the exclamation mark (emphasis) on the answer as being important.
I think women are cool.
Things like this do a good job of showing why regular “dumb” search engines will continue to be relevant for finding referenced knowledge.
The “rightymemes” version of this is a kid asking Miles Morales why he’s brown and having text below that says
“Because, I'm a psychological tool. By creating the image of a brown Spider-Man this subliminally engrains the myth of brown superiority into the subconscious minds of white people. This makes you people more compliant with our brown dominance over your lives.”
The circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.
It’s one thing to make an observation of how Jesus’s “image” has been adopted by different ethnicities, but when the official lore is that all humans are made in the image of God I think there are more productive ways to approach the topic of the societal impact of whitewashing.
I guess it’s the difference between saying “fictional white characters/heroes are bad because they reinforce white supremacy” vs asking “how foolish is it to look at a painting and try to judge which color of paint is ‘best’?”
