If your company takes care of you and treats you with respect, most people will think of this sort of stuff and reasonably accommodate. Most businesses with this mindset of don’t take PTO are just running skeleton crews to boost profits at the expense of work life balance. They are typically the ones always guilting people about taking the very sparse amount of PTO offered in the US. I am union and my company treats us well, so I always think about my team without being asked. I didn’t when I worked for shitty big chains who took advantage of workers when I was younger.
It’s capitalist propaganda pushed across our media and culture. The whole bootstraps myth is tied up in all of American culture. It’s always been bull shit propagated by the owner class.
Any company that can’t function without a team member to this degree is under staffed and poorly ran. You can’t hinge operations on any one talent. This Priv person has real work / life issues or is just a greedy boss.
You know they wrote the order so broadly that Trump can wield it at anyone that hurts his feelings at the moment.
This for sure. Once they consolidated everything, they raised the ticket fees and the venue fees for artists. They charge more and most artists makes less. Live Nation is a textbook example of a monopoly fucking over the consumer.
They don’t wonder. They revel in the fact that city folks hate ice. They’re just whiny little bitches with persecution complexes. They’re only joy is thinking they got back at their perceived enemies.
I would vote not guilty no matter what if I was on his jury. Billionaires and major corporate CEOs need to live in fear for how they treat people. They kill tons of people with their callousness and greed.
The billionaire backed right wing takeover playbook is international - not just the US. Billionaires are a plague on democracies everywhere.
In the US, Trump would demand this site be “de-woke-ified” to remove “conservative bias” by having any conservative fact disproven removed from results.
You watch the video? - They said to him stop resisting even though they hadn't placed him under arrest. Cops abuse their power all the time. I am saying they have no right to handcuff you or even touch you or order you off a train unless you committed an actual crime that they can place you under arrest for. You shouldn't be forced to leave a train like this if you haven't broken any kind of standing law.
I’m sick of the police getting involved and actually acting when no explicit law has been violated. If a law isn’t violated, they should never ever put their hands on a citizen in any way. Detaining someone without actually arresting them should result in immediate firing of the police. If you can’t press charges, you shouldn’t act.
Society needs to give billionaires the same treatment. They should feel safe nowhere.
