Marriage largely is dissolved by a no-fault divorce meaning you can get divorced for any reason without proving wrongdoing. Before no-fault divorces you had to prove fault or wrongdoing of some kind such as being beaten but even then the bar to prove fault was hard and difficult which left women (and men) in abusive relationships, loveless marriages, etc.
The republican party as a whole has been moving against no fault divorces, and this will mean some people are not able to justify a divorce if the abuse is not deemed serious enough. Jd vance has spoken against no fault divorce and has said that it enables people to change their spouse as often as they change their underwear. Which to me sounds like jd vance doesn't ever change his underwear which is kind of gross but the smaller issue here.

Filezilla is no relation to mozilla. But yeah i moved away from it years ago. The general recommendation I've seen is "anything but filezilla". Personally i use winscp for windows, and will have to figure out what to use when i switch my daily driver to Linux.
They have bundled malware from the main downloads on their own site multiple times over the years, and even denied it and tried gaslighting people that AVs were giving false positives because AV companies are paid off by other corporations. And the admin will even try to delete the threads about this stuff but web archive to the rescue...
Look into a static website built with Hugo. You'll be creating pages in markdown like obsidian. You can host it locally so there's no privacy concerns.
If you want it externally facing then there are some options but you'll need to find a site to host your static website and who you're comfortable with their privacy policy.
Few years ago they killed their killswitch . I believe it was technically still an option but they reduced it's capabilities so that it wasn't functionally a reliable killswitch.
