Tolerance of intolerance is not a path to freedom. Choosing to do nothing will only mean that rights and freedoms will be destroyed. Call this the lesser of two evils if you must.

If you let intolerance fester, it will grow and take control, then it will start hurting and squeezing others. It'd be foolish to sacrifice freedom in the name of freedom.

When people have moved to leaving candy out, perhaps kids thought that not having them out means you're not participating. Also, when many houses have left them out, for efficiency, it makes sense to only go to those houses.

I'm glad to hear that the sign helped. Shows that some kids aren't just about getting as much candy as possible but also having a bit of fun.

Rejoining the EU isn't a priority for me right now, but in 10 years time, who knows. Ruling out all other types of relationship is stupid. I voted for labour because I wanted to see the Tories out, but if this is really their goal then they might not get my vote in the next election.

I learned a bit about how Tennessee legislature works after the expulsion last year. It's frighteningly undemocratic, and it's scary to think that it's gotten even more undemocratic since then. Such a shame, I enjoyed my visit to Nashville a lot.

I recall reading a few threads on r/India or similar where it's clear that they aligned to the Russian narrative.

What if Trump wins and run for a third term? If the constitution isn't enforced anyway, why would the 2 term limit matter?

Brave man. Can't even begin to imagine what he must've gone through.

The whole article is quite a dystopian read. Paxton's intervention into medical decisions is self-righteous, and a statement from an anti-abortion group that was so cruel I felt a little sick.

So... all the from Star Gate glass stuff might be quite accurate?

This was a well balanced article overall, considering the title. It does celebrate the low unemployment but balances it out by calling out cost related issues. Left leaning but not delusional.

Looks like the only path of the man is to become a dictator. Can't see any other ways for him to avoid being held to account at this point.
