And I hate when people take a single case and extrapolate it as a general statement.

By that argument Ubuntu is equally unstable as they have rolled out updates that broke grub resulting in unbootable systems - not during a full distro upgrade, but as Ubuntu specific patches to LTS.

In the end, we have choice, and choice is a good thing.

When I'm forced to, and not before then. X works perfectly well so there's no reason for me to switch to something else with less features.

I have not encountered this with my Sonoff Zigbee plugs, for whatever that is worth (US split phase). I also haven't put large appliance loads on them.

I've found the same thing with regard to workflow - I find it really weird when people say it's nothing like any other CAD programs, because it really is. You start with sketches and build up from there. Yes, the spreadsheet feature is amazing! I couldn't believe SolidWorks forces you to buy Excel to do the same thing, which is crazy. The spreadsheet integration in FreeCAD is great - with the macro that handles the reference labels.

There's not a single thing you can't do in FreeCAD that you can do in other CAD programs - but you do have to understand how it works and it's limitations.

I'm glad it was helpful. They are great little controllers and ESPHome makes them so accessible for people like me who don't really want to write code manually.

It's a good question - I don't know, because I haven't used it. If it's 100% compatible with i3 down to its configuration and features, then sure, it's palatable.

Sounds like it's not actually running. Restart the hass server and check the logs, which is the only place you'll see if a dependency is preventing it from starting.

No, it's a pointless exercise that makes no sense.

You can try adding a brim (or a raft if that doesn't help) and see how that goes - tall and skinny models can require some extra bed adhesion to be stable, and that can affect the very top if the model is moving enough for the extruder to hit it. Worth a try...

Try going into the Steam settings and make sure that the appropriate controller is enabled for steam input. I had the same issue recently when switching from an Xbox controller to a Gulikit. Enabling Xbox input in Steam fixed it - even though the new controller is not an Xbox controller, and a real Xbox controller worked fine without enabling it.
