Asia is a wide continent, which countries are you talking about? Vietnamese and Thailand are geographically close for instance, but the food is very different.

Yes, it's called casual conversation for a reason, you just discuss casual things: your hobbies, your pets, what you've been watching, music etc.
I avoided the top casual conversation topic which is the weather.
Ideally, people would posts their own life stories, but in the meantime those daily posts keep the community active.
