I agree with you that their current system of TypeScript should be changed. They are releasing a client that will have multiple identities at the same time. But you can actually do this now on Linux (without a VM) by creating multiple desktop entries linked to different underlying software. However I agree that most won't wish to follow a guide taking an hour on how to do this

Thanks so much for your kind words brother. There's 2 RSS feeds, one for videos, and one for articles. The videos RSS works in AntennaPod from F-Droid

Nowhere in the Monero wallet article did it say that it's hard. You are criticizing content by using OTHER different content of this, such as Proton. There is a big difference between being an email provider and helping someone setup their own email server with DNS. If you look at the services on the website, such as Linux support, you will find things that a beginner most definitely will want help.

Ah ok, that was meant for someone who wants to setup OpenVPN on a VPS that they can SSH into. But this person does not want to do the work. So the company can provide the service of setting up what you like on a VPS

You are correct that facial recognition and any data put into facebook would still be tracked regardless of the steps you took. You're also correct that your friends and still leak info about you. However, I strongly disagree with your criticism regarding VPNs and VMs. A VPN is something you should be doing anyway, this is not really news to anyone here. And regarding VMs, the article does not say it's for everyone, only those with a high threat model that want to use facebook anyway. It is not true that if you browse in a KVM machine with a given fingerprint, that it would lead back to browsing outside it. You are correct that a VM is a lot of effort for most people, and in fact, the majority will not choose this route. But this is educational material for those who ARE interested, this is what some choices are.

It seems like both the larger cryptocurrency community, as well as the FOSS community both just don’t get it. Cryptocurrency and Open Source are clearly related yet only the Monero community seems to give a shit.

FOSS community is so left-brain washed socialist that they are stuck in the money is evil and bitcoin is climate change. Crypto community is stuck in the no-adversaries mindset, as the SEC declares their products illegal but they use google, cloudflare, telegram, no understanding of any threat.

Monero & Linux are linked: https://simplifiedprivacy.com/cryptocurrency-ignores-open-source/

Many in the crypto and privacy community mistakenly trust Telegram because it's "end to end encrypted", but there are huge issues including not hiding the metadata, censorship, centralization, and phone numbers.

Why Avoid Telegram for XMR Trading? (Video) (video.simplifiedprivacy.com)

Telegram is adopted widely by the “crypto community”. But Monero should not be apart of this, as it’s a centralized platform doing zero metadata protection and only encrypted on mobile. Here’s an excellent video you can send your friends who request you to message them on there: https://video.simplifiedprivacy.com/why-telegram-sucks/

You can do all the privacy measures in the world, but if the people you talk to are using spyware then it's all out the window. (literally Windows, get it?)
