one pattern with the bbc is that they are centrist asf, like they do the same with gaza, if someone says “the weather is rainy” and someone else says “the weather is sunny” you don’t quote both, you look out the window, but they don’t wanna offend anyone too much so instead of straight up saying the truth of “there is a genocide in gaza” or “the syrian government is trying to displace kurds” they play both sides but lean enough towards who the west likes the most… very british of them
