For my money, I think Sony will release a PlayStation store for PC, continue pushing the cloud thing, and start allowing third party app stores on consoles if and when they’re forced to by regulators.

You are correct but that doesn’t matter to the buyer of this thing. They want to have this instead of a civic and a regular truck in addition often times. If it’s not a truck they feel emasculated.

I didn’t say “don’t believe this person” I said “don’t listen to them” meaning I think your stance doesn’t fully reflect reality with regards to this topic. I don’t think you’re a liar, I just think you shouldn’t be the only voice in the thread speaking for Seattle when I have an opinion to share too. Sorry if my words were offensive; it was meant to be dismissive but not offensive.

You can find out directly how things are going, here: https://www.seattle.gov/neighborhoods/public-participation/boards-and-commissions/seattle-social-housing-public-development-authority-board

Looks like the board meets at the Capitol Hill library branch. Also I was wrong about how long ago the vote was, it was in February 2023. I’m a bit time blind so I kinda suck at that, sorry 😅

It seems like they are still setting up shop and laying the groundwork to get things done. The worst thing about government in my opinion is how damn slow everything moves.

Odds of being struck by lightning are lower than this how

I appreciate you taking so much time to reply and write out this well thought out response, but I’m not really even that far off from your views to begin with. I don’t know if this is a good use of your time.

I agree the railroads should be nationalized. I have no sympathy for the rich.

When I vote, I read up on the candidate’s positions. I make sure to do my research for decisions I make in the real world. When I’m on Lemmy? I’m going to stage a broad vague opinion because the level of nuance at play here is generally not attainable when not speaking about a specific local policy

I understand you're trying to be nuanced here. I think that realistically things are so very skewed toward suburban and exurban development, car centricity, that any movement toward urbanity is better at this point in time.

You're talking about Montana. I know this because I used to live there. Get lost!

[-] Sneptaur@pawb.social 1 points 1 year ago

You seem to have a very small and limited world view

Pretty bold comment considering many of the people are actual swastika-waving Nazis. Stop defending them.
