From what I was able to find, Gearbox is fixing it/has fixed it?

That's what I've been seeing online as well but I couldn't find a concrete answer for it. It's only $8, so it shouldn't be too much of a waste if it doesn't work right away.

It's on sale right now but I heard their latest update screwed some things up with the game. Has it been fixed and is it a good idea to buy it now?

I thought this was an error given by YouTube to the instances for rate-limiting or something? I usually just swap to another instance in settings and its fixed.
