I realize this is the linux gaming sub, but it's worth mentioning that this is on Gamepass too (I still use Gamepass on Xbox even though I don't game on Windows anymore).
Took 11 months to get my Tesla repaired because they were waiting for suspension parts from Tesla. There are only three Tesla certified repair shops in my whole city (of 2 million people) but that wasn't the issue. The issue was Tesla.
If the EV's they're talking about in the article are Teslas, then I can understand why they would want to get rid of them.
And to be clear, I love my Tesla, but nobody should be buying one until they get their supply chain shit together. I already passed on buying a Tesla when I had to replace my second car recently. (Went with a PHEV because I need to road trip regularly and non-Tesla charging is still pretty terrible in that area.)
Currently, Ace Combat 7’s Pipeline Destruction.
Oof, that was really tough IIRC.
According to the game’s original pitch on Kickstarter, it would be a space sim with a co-op multiplayer game, an offline single-player experience, and a persistent universe. It’s since become a massively multiplayer online game and a separate single-player game with first-person shooter elements called Squadron 42, which RSI originally pitched as “A Wing Commander style single player mode, playable OFFLINE if you want.”
This is what bugs me the most about this whole fiasco. I paid into the original Kickstarter because Wing Commander through Freelancer were my favorite games and I wanted more of that.
The current project, even if we were to VERY charitably call it a game and call it playable, is nothing like Wing Commander or Freelancer.
If they were still making an actual Wing Commander type game after all this time, my copium might still be in full effect. But this current... THING... isn't even the game they promised in the first place. It's so disappointing.
I have three EUC's and no Onewheels. Everything I've read and seen about them says they're underpowered, so they easily cut out, and when they do cut out, your body position makes it much harder to recover safely.
With a front-facing EUC, you can run off them if you're not going too fast. With a side-facing Onewheel, when it inevitably cuts out because it's underpowered and you have a huge lever to crank on it, you are gonna get hurt.
I love the idea of Onewheels. They're what initially got me into EUC's in the first place. But they're not safe. Hopefully this remedy helps.
I prefer Leisure Suit Larry, but I'll upzipper any Sierra game!
other responsibilities ate into my time and now I don’t remember where I am, what I was doing, and I frankly barely remember how to even play.
This is my biggest issue with long games. I feel like if it's getting too long and I want to try something else, I can't come back to it in the middle and pick up where I left off. I have to either consume the game in one chunk, or accept the fact that I'm never going to finish it... which makes me not even want to start it half the time.
Counterpoint: Dauntless kinda sucks. It's made by the Fortnite guys and it feels like a MTX shop with a bad MH clone pasted on the top.
But hey, it's free. Doesn't hurt to check it out and decide for yourself.
It was a great game even with the issues it had. I'm really looking forward to the DLC, if only as an excuse to revisit the game!
I ended up really liking a class I took as a requirement in school. Decided to get an entry level part time job in the field while I was still in college. Graduated school, went full time and still doing it now.
Never would have thought I'd be in accounting but it's fun and I'm good at it.
OMG so much this!
OP, 5 minutes of research on Manjaro will give you a very different impression of how easy or reliable it is.
