Gnome 47 is out already though.

I bought a "cheap chinesium" one a couple of months back and have not regretted it (yet). It does what it claimed it would.

The one I bought: Aoostar R1

While that is likely true, Asahi is a bespoke Linux distribution for Apple hardware. It's what it was made for. At this point most of the stuff in the M1 is working fine on Asahi, as far as I've read. They even got 3D graphics working recently.

Well, whoever is developing it should publish the code somewhere...

Are you using the default Breeze theme?

I've heard such issues can arise with 3rd party themes, so I just stick to Breeze. I'm using Breeze Dark and I have not seen this issue on Plasma 6.1.

ETA: how do I install rpm fusion repos on debian? I only found instructions for fedora and rhel https://rpmfusion.org/Configuration

You don't. rpmfusion is a repo for rpm based distributions. Debian is not rpm based, but deb based. There might be PPA's for Debian instead.

I don't think the post is silly. You are proud of the work you have done and it's great you want to share it. :)

Congratulations on getting Arch + Plasma + BTRFS + backups up and running!

Maybe the UID/GUID of the plex user changed?

Or polkitd has the same UID/GUID and takes it over when installed/updated?

Not debian based, but is KDE - Fedora Kionite

The Arch wiki article already states it's unmaintained since January 2023. So Arch users have had almost a year to find another solution at this point.

That likely just means that none of the other fediverse projects has implemented it yet.

Sure, play your youtube videos on Lynx.

We all know that's one of the main things people use browsers for, that's not work, these days. ;)
