Just something to keep in mind for those not in the security space. When a security company does an audit, its generally a checklist of commercial and custom security software along with a couple people poking around looking for more manual harder to find stuff. But there's a reason companies like Mullvad have a bug bounty program.... Just because cure53 didn't find it, it doesn't mean some bored hacker won't..

Absolutely better than nothing though.

I believe they meant to phrase it as:

The OP in this is saying to vote strategically is to survive, which you have to do to change the system.

At least that's what I got from the context.

As a google user, what... what am I doing ~~wrong~~ right?

Using a browser instead of the YouTube app?

Unless you're talking about Google links then yes. Amazon too, along with many other services. There's a ClearURLs Firefox add-on to remove them automatically.

But it's insidious with YouTube because people are much more likely to share YouTube videos on a public forum, and they just randomly started doing it one day.

Yes you can but for people that are looking to set one up today, not someone that's been running one for 5 years and has basically a whitelisted reputation, it takes a lot to set it up and keep your domain and IP space reputation solid, along with DKIM/SPF/etc records, all the latest stuff like Google's new mandatory unsubscribe header that will keep coming up. Even if a couple people on your hosting provider start spamming, if they're in the same IP space as you, You're going to be getting filtered more heavily for using a "bad neighbor" host. The big corporate/"nonprofit" guys like Spamhaus and Google and Microsoft are basically those controlling corporations for emails, what they say in their spec pretty much goes. They're making it h em oarder for people to set up and run their own email servers, whether that is the outright intended effect for their mandatory changes or not.

Don't get me started on trying to set up a business newsletter account on your new corporate mail server, holy hell, the warm-up itself is pulling hairs. There's a reason companies like MailChimp, Zapier, et al make so much money.

Exactly this. There's a massive difference between providing a product and laying it all out plainly in the terms of service, and providing a product to remotely hack phones through said service with no prior agreement by the user to be hacked.

What's the most efficient design for an energy generation device that fits in an area smaller than 1 cubic mile, uses materials found on Earth or nearby planets/passing comets, and if it outputs particle, waves, or any combination thereof that destroy the atmosphere or DNA/life, contains the destroyers?

But if we're dealing with a demon or a genie or aliens, we won't like the answer. Fuckin' tricksters.

There is a Firefox plugin which I believe is called CleanURLs.

it's interesting that you mention the shorturls OP... I'm almost positive as of today that those links you can share that are like amazon.com/a/ab3cd4 are customized tracking links.

Problem is, if you paste it in your browser from the app, it doesn't go back to the original URL. You have to search the product again and customize the color, number, etc, and then strip tracking again from the url.

Most people just want to send a friend a link of the thing they think they'll like.

Some. Putin won't fuck with the Pope though. You know why you never hear about Putin threatening to de-nazify Vatican city? That's right, the Secret Archives.

Paulhaus said Blood Tribe, the neo-Nazi group he leads, no longer considers him in good standing.

Well, at least they have ethics. Ethnics, maybe not. But ethics for sure.

I believe we've been shown multiple times in the past few years alone that as long as the arrestee is high-profile enough, we will play a game of Humanmon and swap them out for a different card.
