So basically they still require arbitrary code execution as a starting point.

Another guy shared this link from Secureblue that goes into thumbnail generation, which can be done programmatically and has been documented in the past as an avenue for infection in Nautilus.

I definitely prefer quicker access to the controls even with reduced viewing area. I'm normally only going to be skimming things in my phone's browser so I'm going to be frequently using the controls.

Yet another China W. Iran is problematic for materially supporting Putin's war of territorial expansion, but as the sole country willing to go against Israel in the middle-east (besides the Houthi's) I strongly support Iran being able to rebuild it's military strength.

Probably a diplomatic win too, other than with America but diplomacy don't mean jack with that guy.

Roll up is when you scroll-up while hovering over the title bar and everything except the title-bar disappears. In the image monovergent provided the title bar is highlighted in red.

I use Linux Mint with Xfce. Gonna change to OpenSUSE once I can be bothered distro-hopping.

EDIT: Specifically it's the Font Settings that take forever to load, not all of the settings menu.

I've played a lot of the demos, but either I'm still undecided on a lot of them. After playing the Tiny Glade demo, I put it in my "undecided" folder and then moved it to my "want" folder. I don't do well with structureless games but Tiny Glade really seems like one of those must-haves.

Tiny Glade is definitely gonna be one I need to think more about.

I'm gonna dual-boot Bazzite and OpenSUSE once I get through a few games. I don't trust Bethesda to not accidentally give me a VAC ban for using Linux, and there are three Itch io games I want to play first (Horror Vacui, There are Ghosts in these Stalls, Spookware, Corpse Ocean)

I was gonna respond, but after realizing you're going out of your way to be unnuanced about this I had second thoughts. I looked into your profile and of course you're pro-Russia.

Another one for the blocked list.

Cash requires you show up in person to do crime.

Privacy and security are in conflict. I think privacy of thought and privacy of association are important (so social media and messaging) but privacy on where you spend your money leans a bit too far into the privacy side of things.

I admit crime can be a good thing. Piracy for example. But if you're doing crime for money rather than just for the love of the craft, that's where I draw the line.

Monero is used mostly by criminals. Crime and porn are basically the only reasons you'd want an anonymous crypto-currency, unless even the online stores you visit (not just the contents of your order) are of privacy concern.

Remove YouTube Suggestions (assuming you still use the YouTube client directly).

Also, Tampermonkey, to install single-site scripts that you can customize and with more limited permissions.

Do your own research. This is supposed to be a starting point.

Unfortunately Qwant is free. I really want to pay a one-off fee to remove ads but that's not an option. It's also less feature-rich than Kagi (can't hide certain domains from search, for example). Also, it blocks me from using it whenever I set my VPN to singapore because they haven't set up ads there yet.

What makes Qwant noteworthy is that it uses it's own web-crawler. And unlike Mojeek this web-crawler is half-way decent, although it is weirdly common for pornography to come up. Most other search engines are based on either Google or Bing.
