Mint is the best distro for people who need you to tell them the distro.

I use Mint on my Laptop but once Windows is done for I'm switching to:

  1. Fedora, OpenSUSE, Secureblue, or something with KDE Plasma (security, stability, and ease of use priority)
  2. Bazzite (for games, and dual-booted into to protect the security of my daily driver)
  3. OpenBSD or something (so if something like Crowdstrike or Wannacry happens but for Linux, I have an alt)

DON'T GIVE TRUMP IDEAS.

This. Like, even if the average person didn't get any richer simply taking money from the rich makes it worth it.

The rich having too much money is the cause of basically all the world's problems even putting aside the associated economic malaise.

Yeah, when I said that I didn't really adequately consider what would actually come of Iran being crippled. Civilian rule is not the likely outcome of Iran being defeated.

And Iran isn't as bad as Israel, I agree, but that's a pretty low bar.

Anyone got a good list of Israeli companies? I mostly assumed I didn't buy anything Israeli because they're a small country far away from me. Intel and PrivateInternetAccess are the only two I know of (and the latter it took me way too long to realize is Israeli).

The idea I'm thinking of is some kind of fliphone combined with a separate device for everything else. I haven't looked too much into it so I can't guarantee it's a good idea, and after like 2 minutes of searching I couldn't find a flipphone that supported hotspotting.

I just got GrapheneOS, and while it's good I really hate the jumpscare that is the Google logo every time I reboot (since it's exclusive to Google Pixels).

Nationalize the drug industry.

I don't. I just hope for the best and try to install as few things as possible.

I'm focussing on disaster recovery now, more than prevention. Prevention seems like it's almost impossible in this age.

EDIT: I mistakenly answered based on security, not privacy.

I want this so bad. Although in practice I imagine none of this will fit together well with the YouTube interface or with a custom desktop background.

In what way won't it help? Be specific.

The way Reddit fosters echo-chambers probably makes it the worst in my book.
