I was looking to replace Brave on my Mom's phone, and having it on play store and auto-update, I woulnd't have to worry much.
It's time to switch to Stock Android.
On Android: Use adguard DNS/NextDNS others under PrivateDNS to blockout ads at system level.
AFAIK notesnook is Markdown.
I'm pretty sure Android doesn't do this. The encryption is purely local, so you cannot somehow recover the device if you have the Google account.
IMO that logic is really absurd. If you can disable it so that it doesn't bother you, nor steal your data, then it's completely fine. They are giving you the option to opt-out.
I'm sure I read that they got the exemption approved.
Honestly I really don't care abt w11 LTSC as this one (10LTSC) should receive updates till 2030 (afaik).
Till that time, Linux Desktop will be in a much better place than it is now.
The only reason I would ever want to switch over to W11 LTSC would be if I buy a newer PC. The W11 LTSC is supposed to launch next year, so let's how how it goes.
Thanks for the ref.
I haven't touched that aspect so can't really comment on the security aspect. But if it's behind PWD and stuff, it should be good IG.
Yup. Most of my media lives at my home.
I kinda hate watching any good movie/Tv show on phone. Ruins the experience. So mostly only Music is there with some YT Videos that I may need/like.
Top of my Head: Ms Teams.
Also, on side note, FF on Desktop doesn't support PWAs while on Mobile they do.
