Ngl that sounds like a good horror-comedy

Corporations supporting pride are canaries in the coalmine. When they stop chirping, you know something is wrong.

Besides, I don't like cynicism. Yeah, most big corps don't give a fuck. And this is what this meme is about. But regular gays work everywhere, and support does make a difference in those places

Yes, but Cognitive Behavioral Therapy specifically also a lot about working together to implement some small-scale changes. These are based on what you call common sense, but beyond it just being unable to retain your common sense sometimes, it's really easy to accidentally not act according to common sense sometimes despite possessing it.

Same reason womens magazines are more popular than mens magazines and womens subreddits and websites are more popular than mens.

Maybe one day we'll have full equality and it'll be weird to think of "women's spaces" as something that's necessary. But it's very much so today.

Why should they want to do that? That's not how most sites for women work!

reddit has /r/TwoXChromosomes which is one of my favorite subs. It's a general womens subreddit, and though it obviously leans feminist it's not its main purpose. It welcomes all genders, but remains a womens space.

The fediverse could really use that energy.
