Up until recently, I wasn't a fan of rogue-lites...rogue-likes? I played Hades 1 and 2, which I did enjoy, but I really started to like these kinds of games with Absolum. If you haven't played that yet, you're missing out.
I was kind of on the fence with Deadzone simply because it has one of those generic names that doesn't incite confidence, but dang, it is genuinely fun if you're into this sort of game. The elemental abilites make a huge difference and it's fun coming up with extremely overpowered combos with your team.
Battle Network. At the time, it just felt different and I enjoyed it way more than X or any of the other platformer Megaman games. I still even have the toys from back in the day; A real P.E.T with chips. Safe to say I was obsessed. ๐
