The best I can figure is that the 4M$20 track was popular on a streaming service that pays better, and vice versa for whatever reason.

Yeah, I might get back to it sometime. It is a mish-mash of so many video game tropes I love. It was just one particular instance where I forced myself through a dungeon as fast as I could, got frustrated with the boss and died a couple of times, finally made it, and wasn't fast enough to beat the NPC that just completely ticked me off and made me put it down. Those monk trial things really tested my patience for a bit there, too.

Often, all this music software is used in solitude

Beethoven composed in solitude, too.

Yes, there's something about a live performance that can't exactly be reproduced jamming with yourself in your bedroom, but that doesn't mean that great music can't come out of both processes.

Beato is definitely channeling a little "git offa mah lawwn!" vibes. The reason we don't get any more Led Zeppelins or Pink Floyds or whichever brand of classic rock he worships at the altar of isn't because there aren't talented musicians making music. It's because the circumstances that those artists thrived under no longer exist, and likely never will again.

The Talos Principle 2. It's a cerebral, first person puzzle game by the makers of Serious Sam. The first one was amazing! One of my favorite games. The reviews make it sound like this one is at least just as good. It's not even that old and already 40% off.

Hangul Word Processor. It had (has?) an updater that would pop up ads in the taskbar. Unfortunately the developer, Hancom, is so in-bed with the Korean government, it's mandatory software in many Korean workplaces. Korean support has gotten much, much better in every other word processor, it's hardly necessary anymore.

Can ROMs be extracted from fitgirl repacks? I searched this question, and it pointed me to the Reddit MEGAthread. I found that through here, but I still can't find an answer. Thanks!

Treasure! Dynamite Headdy, Gunstar Heroes. Bangai O. Not to mention the shmups. Damn they made some amazing games with super cool mechanics. Last I checked, they made a few anime tie-in games or something in the 2010s, but nothing since then.

It's weird to ask, but are you young? I've seen it suggested that migraines tend to recede in those 35+. I was very, very grateful for them going away as I got older. As long as I stay away from the caffeine, the worst headaches I get these days are just a mild annoyance. Especially compared to the I-wanna-kill-myself ones I got when I was in high school.

I was talking about the PS5 controller. My DS4s (the PS4 controller) are holding up much better. At least the internals. The rubber on the sticks wore off, and I had to replace the tops. That was much easier than the 14 contacts-per-stick I have to de-and-re-solder on the Dualsense (PS5 controller) when I work up the courage to try that.

True, but you still do a lot of moving around with the left stick. And when you're stressed out about imminent death at any moment, that can be hard on the sticks.

I loved Sekiro! My first time through the game, I probably died on that first miniboss a hundred times. On NG+, I got to and killed Lady Butterfly without dying once. What an amazing game. I should probably go back and finish up NG+ once Elden Ring lets go of me.

I suppose it was only a matter of time before the vegans vs meat eaters oozed on over from Reddit.

If you have kids, you're practically forced to interact with other parents.
