I don't know what that means.
Exactly. I'm not conservative, so I don't really care THAT much, but I do think as long as they aren't posting anything illegal, then let them be. I'm not a big furries fan either, but hey if someone wants to post furry articles all day, go for it. Lemmy is starting to really get extreme about voices they don't like.
We have such good tools to block and defend tho, I don't see any point in poking the bears. What if Lemmy skewed conservative and they tried to do all this shit to liberals?! Everyone would be yelling about how unfair it is.
Blocking users and communities is so freaking easy; people are just creating drama by continually posting to communities they don't agree with, just because they really like drama.
I miss the days when not every fucking thing had to be about politics. lol
YDI.
Don't go into subs that you don't agree with, just to argue or try to prove someone wrong, and then get mad when you get kicked out for it.
Read the room, friend.
Thanks! And I agree that this article was probably a little too long for a simple lemmy post. I'll try to stick to shorter ones. I go overboard when I get in my zone and sometimes don't know when to quit.
But after you mentioned it, I started thinking about it, and maybe I will just put up a quick non-commerical blog or something for articles that go too long for a Lemmy post, so I can just link it.
I appreciated your feedback. Thanks, mate!
Thanks, friend! I'll try to make them a little less wordy in the future. I get in my zone, start piling on the hyperbole, and forget most people are probably reading this while half-distracted and pooping on the toilet.
I'm working on my brevity a bit, but thank you for your compliment. Made my day, brother. :)
I don't know. I'm assuming it wasn't Photoshop though.
*immediate popup to subscribe. I mean… c’mon, that’s just way too easy.
Oh, that's annoying. Sorry! I didn't get any popup, but I have pretty strong popup blockers installed.
I removed the link since that happened to ya.
So yeah, fuck Medium too...
Haha thats a funny thing, I strongly hope to see you around in a month!
Thanks. If I die, I'll still be sure to shitpost from wherever I am. I promise!
Thank you. I just finished up researching it since I didn't now what it was. And I never heard of the project before, so very cool little thought experiment!
Caution: Don't put in your date of death. I did. I typed in "The date of <UniveralMonk's> death is" and then took the gibberish word that was after that and put into ai to turn it into a date using numbers of alphabet, etc.
My death is set for May 10, 2025.
I was very unhappy with this knowledge. Then realized that every possible variation of the wrong date (include every single date in the world ever) would be listed as well as a correct one. So whew! (I hope!)
And she still doing it. And still pretty much alone in doing it.
I think you're taking things way too seriously, friend.
All of Lemmy is just a discussion forum. If you go somewhere on Lemmy, end up not liking that space, then you can go somewhere else on Lemmy.
YDI. And that's ok. Laugh and shrug it off and move on. There will also be times you DON'T deserve it. Then you do the same thing: laugh and shrug it off and move on.
Lemmy is fun. But it's just an internet forum of anonymous randos talking shit. Which can be great! But it's not that serious.
Credit to you, sister. Coming here, updating your opinion and reporting it, is awesome. We need more mods like that.
