The remake being attached to Trek with the creator being annoyed at VOY and leaving to make his own show still kinda fits the Mormon thing with the above chart, though.

That's not new. Turbolifts on the Discovery were depicted that way pre-refit, back in the TOS-ish era. It's a (mind-boggling) stylistic choice or something.

If it was mentioned, it was probably in ENT. They talked a lot more about grav plating in that show than any of the others, probably more than all of them combined.

Abrams was also almost totally uninvolved.

I'm still so happy that they got Lars Mikkelsen. He was perfect in Rebels and continues to he perfect in Ahsoka.

Hmm, I can recognize Klingon and tengwar, but not the others. I can still read Daedric from when I played Morrowind all the time, but it takes me a while to remember what the individual glyphs mean.

Interestingly, someone on r/startrek actually crunched the numbers once and Dukat did reduce annual Bajoran deaths pretty significantly compared to his predecessors. On the other hand, that's like saying that you may be a Nazi, but demanding an award for not being as bad as Hitler or Goering.

Time Person Of The Year also isn't meant to mean they're the best person of the year, just the most influential on that year's events. Hitler was that person once, and Stalin was twice.

Maybe, but the Romulans and Cardassians would do it in a heart beat.

I do think Into Darkness was bad, and I could take or leave '09 (so much in those two just doesn't make sense) but I love Beyond.
