I hate these subscriptions everybody and their mom has, but it's insanely expensive to buy blueray discs these days, it's easily 30-40 euro per movie f.e.

Everybody should have a minimum income that they can comfortably live from in every country, period.

In CH are all the restaurants etc. expensive due to the wages being higher? Or is it mainly due to extra food costs?

What if we don't increase the minimum wage, but increase the minimum income? Aka give people extra money if they work for minimum wage in certain area's like restaurants. Just a theory. (In NL we have had situation where the company would get extra money to compensate the higher wage cost, mostly the NOW during Covid)

Personally I wouldn't want to work in an office where (almost) everybody is remote. I believe that the best option is to do a hybrid.

Edit: I prefer working with others in person instead of doing it remotely over the phone or teams. Not sure if I am more productive at work or at home due to the distractions at home. But I am in the minority it seems, but then again my commute is about my rewind time so I am refreshed when I am at home. Traffic isn't an issue either and I can bike if I wish (and didn't sweat as much)

There are loads of people who think a company is bad because of one product, one service etc. A friend of mine hates Seagate, but he bought 10 drives of the same model. Pretty sure he even bought some after the first one failed ... or people (like me) put desktop drives in a NAS or service with other drives. While mine are still good I expect them to fail any time since well they are not desinged for the use case I am using them for.

Leaving packages at the door is so uncool, they should either put it inside, behind a fenced of area or just return it to the nearest pickup point

The solution to religion is public welfare. The better people have it, the less need they have to go to something devine to search for answers or have hope because of it. They will also have the ability to learn more about their religion and other religions. That's the reason religion has been in decline in some countries, or at leas the original religion has been declining in a favour of another religion increasing. Cough Muslim cough. Like we have here in NL.

There is a difference between abusing people to generate money and spending money to hurt people

In the Netherlands we are lucky that we have actually have a spectrum you can choose from. I am not that versed in the France political system, but I don't believe in that you are either left or you are right.

I think most people can agree with statements from both the left and the right. At least if they get room to express that.

If you look at left and right political in the Netherlands than there is also an issue. The left generally wants higher taxes for the rich and more income for the poor. The right generally want lower taxes for businesses and want to pay the poor less money to compensate that or something like that. Neither side will focus on the middle class, but currently in The Netherlands it's the middle class who pay the most taxes percentage wise. (The loss of govern ant benefits, increases the percentage you are taxed in this calculation).

I do believe that there are a lot of good politicians who can parade as somebody else while campaigning and then doing other things after they are chosen. That's why you generally want more than one person to make decisions. However having 225 people who decide the direction of the country is not working either ....

To be fair I don’t live in the US so it’s entirely possible that it hasn’t even been mentioned in my circles.

Tuta is located in Germany which is part of the fourteen eyes intelligence aliance. Germany also had a conservative party and a far right party win the elections.

Not saying Tuta isn’t good or anything, just wanted to share the info I have about it which might be relevant.
