Idk, I have shit (emails and texts) that could be considered blackmail on my ex wife of 15 years (not legal but would trash her relationship with her family which for all our faults she values and depends on as much as anything in life) and I would never open that can of worms. I also have video sent to me that would cost my current girlfriend (she shared them) massive headaches and likely thousands in lawyer fees and support. I can’t imagine a scenario where I would leverage it for anything. I value that my ex and current GF know they can trust me, entirely, without consequence. Relationships are hard and things don’t always become or remain what one would like but I can’t imagine purposefully hurting someone like that. My ex wife and I can’t stand each other but theirs comfort in knowing we can trust each other. I wouldn’t go to her funeral but I’d help her bury a body and I know she feels the same.

I have crossed paths with a couple celebrities that I was surprised had top secret clearances at the (based on open drug use). That part doesn’t really surprise me. His propensity for blackmail is what I find troubling. He may not be a financial risk but he’s certainly a risk due to his desire for control and/or power.

I had a shotgun and .223 in the back window gun rack of my truck through middle school and high school (started driving at 14 with a school permit) with shells and rounds in the glove box. Nothing was ever locked where I grew up either; homes, vehicles, businesses.

Granted I grew up in a town with under 1,000 people and the closest ‘city’ to us was an hour away and had a population of 25k.

That was forty years ago and I feel a lot differently about things and the world is a different place but when I grew up more students and teachers had guns in their vehicles at school than didn’t. Everyone hunted, I pulled off and shot a coyote in pack that was stalking around one of my teachers herd of cows on the way to school one winter. I took the coyote into class and gave it to him since I had him first period.

My theory is that they are not actually straight. They actively decided to be straight against their true interests due to social pressures. They in turn feel that sexual preference for everybody is an active decision. Due to their constant battle with that they feel some level of acknowledgement is in order for them similar to the lgbtq community. Those people chose to be gay and get pride parades while I chose to be straight and get nothing energy.

The officer force is definitely more progressive and generally better informed. One of the worst parts of living next to a military base is the maga conservative bullshit from retirees, vets, and the enlisted workforce. I have a high confidence in our uniformed officers. That’s not to say they don’t have their own crazies but as a general rule I don’t see the officers toeing the line to support bringing up arms against their friends, family, and communities who are protesting their rights being stripped away. It would be a mess in so many unpredictable ways.

It’s not even necessarily arousal either which could make for some awkward moments, especially as a teenager. I started doing the tuck because a couple times in class, completely focused on my work, when the bell rang and I snapped out of my work to get up and leave I realized I had a full on boner so I couldn’t stand up right away. I’ve only ever gotten one video to play on it. It’s fine, I googled the title and was able to find the video. The guy doing that tear down is awesome btw! I can’t deny I winced a few times while watching it.

My understanding is that it generates waves that cancel out the sound waves so your ear drums are actually receiving more sound pressure than without the noise canceling headphones even though you don’t hear the sound.
