My rental didn’t have a dish washer, got me a countertop one that hooks up to the sink. Almost as good a purchase as the bidet.

Um don’t feel like the first is particularly rare…

I’m not sure why we need share holders at all. Not sure what function they serve. A business can remain active without the stock market if they produce value. They could innovate and not necessarily be wholly motivated by profit above all else.

I didn’t attempt to. Just saying. You said it wasn’t impossible for government owed news media to dutifully report against the government. Maybe not, but our country’s kinda stacked the deck against that

Ok…. And you assume this will be true… if an American government… who established a Russian asset as president, is attempting to defund private schools so that they can give money to certain religious orgs and push a Christian message, who is trying to privatize the post office, and who refuse to answer to war crimes is a good environment to take control of the news media?

Journalists and editors need to eat. And the problem is if the government gets involved and funds it, well let’s just say that ends badly. Not even the post office is allowed to run without being fucked with by republicans, and then they are somehow forced to turn a profit, when they are also forced to run in a way that is antithetical to making profit based decisions. And now you have the government deciding for the news, what is biased. And no more reporting on government officials that aren’t just puff pieces.

I wonder if the word skibidi has out lasted its source only due to how fun it is to say. Can’t wait till mewing starts to embarrass the younger gens.

I don’t know, don’t have an instance. If it’s not just an option to still be federated but to opt out of having community posts being featured in all then maybe they should defederate with all of the other ones so they can post terrible things about the people they hate behind everyone else’s backs. Or they can just accept that when someone (even a mod) posts something antagonistic, it’s going to get down votes.

I seriously doubt that vegan posts showing off durian jerky, or even posts about how long cows could live if the meat industry didn’t slaughter them at peak profit efficiency, would be downvoted that much.

Then shouldn’t their space be private, so they don’t show up on all? They are begging for downvotes with how nasty their memes are. I understand their point, but i am sure that my understanding is much better reserved for non jerks.

Uhg and groan. Listen 9/11 wasnt about solidarity between political parties. I mean the event did allow the parties to craft the Patriot act, and sell away alot of our freedoms for the lie of security… but i consider that a bad thing. It’s this attempt to find common ground with the republicans that has got me so upset at this political climate to begin with. 9/11 is in remembrance to those that died, don’t use it for anything political

Almost, but would be funny is if instead of Bane, a female supervillain wearing the pocketed vest. When Batman asks, an annoyed supervillain points out that all the pockets are fake.
