in about:config, try removing the pertinent domains from extensions.webextensions.restrictedDomains

i've never done this though, so caveat executor

by the way, if you put a backslash before the hash, you don't get massive text

Heyo,

Last night I had quite clear idea for an illustration, different theme from what I usually do and I had tons of fun doing it

Artwork done almost entirely in Blender, some FX and little fellas were added in Photoshop. Whole thing took around 6h to finish it.

imaginative title, i know

i realise the train isn't the full focus of this picture; but i like the way it's used to show the scale of the dinosaurs by being absolutely dwarfed by the them

Mix of two time periods; Victorian era and the Roman Empire. Hopefully i get around to exploring more of this mix as i had a blast doing it.

now, i'm not entirely sure that's supposed to be a portal; but it looks like one and this is such a cute concept i just had to post it

he's done a couple of other images that the fediverse might enjoy, as well

death with a meta logo headband painting over "threats" to read "threads", in front of cowering peertube, mastodon, and lemmy mascots reddit snoo sawing off the branch it's sitting on

Colony No. 8 by Ming Yee Sheh (cdna.artstation.com)

Hummm.... As SpaceX said, there's only 6 months left to colonize Mars, by then we all known Elon Musk will declare independence and wage war to all mankind. Luckily Japan is building the first Gundam recently, I guess there's always hope in the dark

okay. perhaps instead of wasting your time writing an entire paragraph, you should read the article and you'll find out that that entire paragraph was irrelevant

it's actually not an article about the pros and cons of tor. it could not be summed up in bullet points about the pros and cons of tor

i'll admit to being a little facetious before, but i implore you to read articles before commenting on them

fennec, confusingly, was too different things

fennec, the codename for firefox android before it was codenamed fenix, is no longer developed. you're right

fennec, the floss soft fork of firefox android, is still being developed. it's available on fdroid, and based on fenix (modern firefox android)

there are a couple of issues on github related to doing this natively through lemmy

i will find and link them in the morning, but try searching https://github.com/lemmynet/lemmy for "multireddits" and "tags"

edit

  • #818 - main issue

  • #3443 - supposed duplicate

  • #3700 - nested communities idea

  • #3071 - another supposed duplicate

  • #317 - somewhat related, post tags

Bird, Elephant, and now Fish. Elephant and Fish can be friends, Bird can fuck off.

now that's a quote i want on a sticker with no context

still scummy though. i'm not going to go into the morals of whether social contracts should apply with businesses, but put it this way: if enough people did this, businesses would stop offering refunds; which would screw over those with genuine issues

alternatively, if votes were private, you could spin up a bot network to mass upvote your comment; making it far more influential as most people are more inclined to believe statements they think others also feel. thankfully, votes are open, so you can't

as long as there is a system, people will try to game the system; and when there is a new system, people will come up with new games
