well, that's great to hear. not often we get to see this sort of thing around nowadays

Do you ever plan on monetising this platform?

another bug: when I tried to post something here, the app crashes, but posting from frontpage and then selecting Infinity For Lemmy community works for some reason

can we get some proof? this is really interesting. I'd like to see how they're tracking stuff

also tip: KDE connect can integrate stuff from your android phone into Windows/Linux like a fucking dream. it's been a while since I've used a cable when I have to transfer files between my phone and pc...

it's not just file sharing either. clipboard sharing, notification, media controls, remote input, slideshow cursor, you get the idea right... it's too useful. and it's crazy to me that there's no inbuilt solution from google yet

for some background, I'm on latest stable Kubuntu. able to use Microsoft Office via a KVM+Winapps setup currently. it mostly works but there are a few kinks like the display frame getting fucked up when going full screen or windowed, drag and drop being hit or miss and whatnot...

i did read up on Office 2019 being installable using Wine, but wasn't able to find any methods to activate it. MAS isn't really a thing on wine since we don't have Powershell I believe. any ideas?

those are read posts. you can change the read posts background colour to match the posts background colour if you like. looks like lemmy automatically marks posts as read as you browse through

infinity seems pretty awesome judging by the short time that I've spent with it

is there any launcher out there which has got offline OCR support in recents like the Pixel Launcher? Not talking about the Google lens implementation in recents menu here. I uninstalled the Google App from my phone using SD Maid. The custom rom I use(EvolutionX) does have launcher3 as its default(basically identical to Pixel launcher in every aspect, just without that Select/OCR in recents menu, and its got a bit more customisability since it’s open source), but being able to select images/text right from the recents menu without having to connect to the internet was something that I found to be a really powerful tool. miss having it handy whenever I needed it…

I'm on Android 13, May Security patch, AOSP. Rest of the apps work fine, no scrolling jitter whatsoever. Is there any way to fix it, or is it just a "me" problem :(

edit: my phone has a snapdragon 870, 8GiGs of ram and I got around 80GiGs of free storage left
