Can you create custom decryption keys? I like the idea of an easy to use encryption mechanism for non private platforms.

In a bunch of useless formats afters years of back and forth because the government can't define what it actually wants in concrete technical terms.

That said I am for what they are asking for here (specifically transparent algos). Hopefully they can get someone like Mozzilla hired to actually handle it.

Desktop or mobile? I'm on mobile and didn't see anything wrong myself

It depends on if the changes needs it or not. You can set a reboot flag on a given task and at the end the system will reboot, but if no reboot is needed then it will just make the change live.

They are generally mutually beneficial. Counter surveillance benefits from supporting privacy prevents malicious actors from exploiting the members of a nation. So I lean heavily towards supporting privacy as a matter of supporting both. The exceptions are in the true extremes in which, even after serious deliberation in a democratically agreed apon system, the demand for exposure is too high to ignore.

I mean ML is just the tool someone used to study a work in a way that generated a new understanding (the model). You could theoretically accomplish the same thing with a mathematician measuring painting with a variety of instruments and building a mathical model themselves to represent the relationship between word descriptions and the images produced.

The work of thousands of devs, engineers and scientists have just made that process both more wildly available and applicable.
