Aside from global warming the world as a whole has been steadily improving. I think you are confusing the USA with the rest of the world. Empires collapse, it happens, that doesn't mean the whole world is on fire.

That to me sounds like exactly the reason why developers like the above have left. They are having to take on the burden of gently letting down other devs who are angry over a simple misunderstanding. A misunderstanding that wouldn't have happened if they had been listening or bothered to ask first before jumping to conclusions. Imagine someone heckles you on stage and you have to respond kindly. I certainly wouldn't. If someone had listened to my talk, misinterpreted it, then heckled me over it you can bet I would be angry and would respond in kind. To then see this misinformation being spread again would drive me nuts. I can see why they left.

The bottom line for me is that Rust devs who work on this stuff for free shouldn't be getting hounded by C devs just for asking for proper documentation that frankly they should have provided in the first place. I say this as someone who is skeptical of Rust for various reasons.

These people you are arguing with aren't trump cultists. You made logical errors and they are pointing them out. That isn't the same as defending trump. Apparently though you're either too dumb or too emotional to understand that and instead want to call everyone who even slightly disagrees with you over something fairly trivial a trump supporter.

Please get your head straightened out. If this was real life I would be straightening it out for you or I would consider not speaking to you again. Do you understand?

Afaik Nvidia Optimus works fine on arch if setup following the wiki. It's mainly other distros that have Nvidia problems.

While it's possible to cause significant damage from a single overdose I don't think it is likely from trying something at a sensible dose once. Most of the time the damage addicts have is done through repeated heavy use.

I did manage to switch to Linux. I can understand though why people are hesitant, there are still things that are tough in Linux, or near impossible in some cases. That's despite having used Linux on and off for years.

Which country do you live in? This sounds like something that could never happen in the UK or US as divorce is extremely common. I'm pretty sure you would have to have done something bad in order to be ousted here. Like abusing your partner would do it, not just divorcing them.

Also legally changing your name is fairly easy, I am sure if you talked to your University you could get them to update the records. Chances are though it would show up in a background check.

A hormone in the human body that's typically present in higher concentrations in females than males. Often given as HRT to trans women and post-menopausal women.

This is the most arrogant thing I have seen in a while. Stop using kids to achieve your own goals. Use people who actually care. It shouldn't be hard to find people who want to build a Dyson swarm (a dyson sphere isn't realistic even). As for forcing people to be successful: that's not how success works, how having kids works, and ignores the shit show that is modern society.
