Ok, grumpy bear.
Meh. What flavor is the milkshake? Will having the milkshake even make life better for anyone?
That comment was fun. Kinda typically a bit of a snarky comment, but really came off as nice and wholesome in context.
A sane perspective.. ..I wasn't really expecting that here.
You do have a right to be alive, if you can gather the food to put in your mouth and get shelter (in most climates), and defend yourself from predators.
'Earning a living' is just some way people can do that. But you still need to defend against the predators.
It really is.
Nice.
The point of open source is kinda that you have the freedom to do as you will.
The point of packaged distros is so that you don't have to do too much.
Do as you will, brother, do as you will.
It's legal and user pushback - and it's a battle I'm bored of fighting. I just use Linux, and find it simpler. With Windows, it's ads, forced updates, 'upgrades' that re-enable 'features' i never wanted, a billion background services, most of which I don't need - and more.
Fuck the battle to keep shit from being shoved down my throat.
TIL, thank you.
