Okay so how is it with Cinammon, mate xfce? I know it's crap with Wayland and Xorg especially with nvidia drivers.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I switched to qbittorrent and it works nicely for now. The web ui is fine for the little I use it so all good! I'll report if something starts failing again which would indicate another issue with me setup.

I'm not set on transmission, I tried qbittorrent just now and it seems to work for me. But thanks! I anyway use a separate container and network for vpn.

Here are the same queries with Kagi (I was interested to see the difference)

I reported the bug to Proton support and they said they are investigating but suggested I uninstall and reinstall the extension. I did and lo, my forms started working again. I can recommend you try to uninstall and reinstall too (disabling it was not enough).

I rock a full size realforce r2 at work AND and home because I feel more productive with a keypad and other helper keys. It's less mental overhead. I'm not using the mouse much when I type (modal editor)

Unfortunately the 99% that don't know about less popular options will still be affected

All VPN software might affect bandwidth due to the increased progressing needed for encryption, but quantifying it is hard because several factors come into play : mainly the hardware and bandwidth on either side of the tunnel. Giving it a go is easy and you can check which VPS specs give you the speed you require. Regarding the number of connections, I'm not sure of the answer. For all intents and purposes I don't run into a lot of problems on a daily basis and bandwidth is acceptable on a cheap 4€/mo VPS with 2 CPUs. Bonus tip for privacy, you can use port 443 for wireguard which makes it less obvious you're using a VPN.

Try both, but personally I had trouble with playback on my older android tablet with jellyfin and so I went with plex which works for me.

If your domain is registered with cloudflare, they have an amazing tunnelling service that is free to point your domain to your own device at home!
