Yeah as with any new gotta have technology, there comes a point where a great weeding out of less than efficient providers happens. And it's been happening to many 3D companies for a while now.

Value for money is the heart of the problem. The quality has been declining for a good while now. I enjoy the occasional junk food meal on the rare times I need to travel. And McDonalds was almost always been my choice. But it's been a long time since I have even considered them for that quick stop and go meal.
Inflation or not, I will look for the value I get. I ain't getting it at McDonalds anymore.
So many things organizations do when it comes to branding or advertisements should really be be run past just one 12 year boy before the idea gets turned loose, it would take is mere seconds to identify any problems.
But no, the adults are the smart ones...........
Few people accomplish so much in ne lifetime. A life well lived evidently.
We see far more metric measurements than we actually notice every day. Almost every item in your grocery store shows both US Customary and Metric measurements right next to each other on the label. And we buy whisk(e)y in 750ml bottles.
But I would argue there is probably little reason to stop buying butter by the pound(454 grams) vs switching to selling butter in 500 gram packages. And no one misses buying whisk(e)y by the fifth rather than in 750mL bottles. Even when traveling no one really cares how many miles or kilometers it is from New York City to LA. All anyone really cares about is "how long" will it take to get there. Nor does matter if you measure your dick in inches or centimeters - it's still gonna be too short according to that woman you picked up at the club last weekend. I honestly suspect we are going to keep using a bastardized mixed system for a very long time for common everyday usage while doing "official" things metric.
The real question is: Where did all those 9/16" wrenches disappear to during the "good ol' days." And why can't I find that bloody damn 10mm socket today? What is up with that?
Yep, I have a good friend that ran into this issue on his home he bought 20 years ago. After 5 years of living in the home and making payments on it, it was finally discovered that there was no clear title to the property going back 60 years..............
It took another 2 years to clean it all up, but it required the township, county, and a state agency to get involved to make a couple of problems "just go away".
Now, imagine being, let's say 50 years old, and losing your career. You previous job that you have been doing for 20 years is gone. And soon your home and possessions are too.
Do you have time to go back to school to learn a new skill and then start from the bottom again? And by the time you are done retraining, will anybody hire a 50 to 55 year old rookie when they can get a younger person for less money instead?
It's easy to say, "Just move and do something else" when you are 20. But the older you get it becomes very difficult to nearly impossible for a large number of people to do so. Not everyone can be retrained and there are few low skills jobs these days.
Which is odd because I do want the health stuff, but don't want the rest of that stuff that is useless to me. I don't need the texting, music, weather, or the phone stuff - my smart phone still needs to be in bluetooth range for it to work anyway.
But I do value the ability to take a pulse, blood pressure, and count steps. It has increased my self-awareness and improved my health consciousness - small changes can make big differences. And for $40US, I found a decent watch that actually works pretty well.
Or perhaps a blurry ass camera in a drone at night. You might be surprised what can work at times. At least it will cause someone to waste a bit more time studying the photos to be sure of what they are.
Do you think your body hurts now? What are ya'll going to be like when you hit your 60's and are truly broken by old age and poor choices? Those doctors ain't handing out opioids like candy anymore, (and as a retired medic in my 60's, I'm very happy about that).
Old age ain't for sissy's, so enjoy how little misery and pain you have now. Because it won't get any better.......

If you are using Bamboo slicer, you are pretty much using Prusa slicer since it's directly taken from that with minor changes. I've noticed I've been slowly migrating away from Prusa slicer, a fork of Marlin, to Orca slicer - which is a fork of Bamboo. The reason is Prusa slicer is now concentrating on updating for the new Mk4 and XL printers with a nod to the Mini. I'm still quite content my Mk3s+ and don't need all those new updates for printers I don't own.
